5 Stars Zune Review
The Zune itself seems well made and well thought out. It would be nice if it came with a printed manual, but that doesn’t seem to be the way it works these days.

2 Stars Zune-The thrill has gone
I thoroughly enjoyed my Zune for the first 45 days and the lock button on my Zune broke. I so wish I would have read the reviews on this board before I returned it to the Zune service center, in which I was told instead of a new Zune..I would be sent a refurbished one. I am not happy with this and I do believe this is ridiculous. I agree with other reviewers truly be aware of this. You spend so much money to only enjoy it for less than 60 days and then it is replaced by a refurbished model and I am unaware of the quality of the refurbished Zune. I am not happy and knowing this I will most likely not buy another Zune again. Disappointing I truly enjoyed the Zune while I could.

1 Star Big mistake
I had an Apple Ipod and unfortunately I lost it! Well, I wanted to buy a new one, but then I chose Zune because i thought it was worth it to try… WRONG!!!!!

It’s been only 2 months after I bought my Zune 120 GB. It was brand new, perfect… and all of the sudden, I have this “Message #5″ on my screen, telling me to contact technical support. I tried everything to have it back, but nothing worked. I surfed the internet and found out that this error is a Hard Disk error.

As my Zune is still under warranty, then I tried to contact Microsoft. Uhhh, what a nightmare….. You need to have your invoice (who doesn’t throw it away after a few days??), plus, not all the countries are elegible for receiving support. And if your zune warranty is expired, you won’t receive any support, even if you’re willing to pay for it!!!

Come on Microsoft!!!! Is that what you call customer service??? Give me a break. That’s why you are where you are!!! It’s not only about what you sell, but also what you offer as a plus… Obviously your marketing people are obsolete. This is why Apple is superior in many ways and will always be. My apple ipod had only 1 problem in 1 year and it was solve inmediately, it was only about software… hardware was always fine.

But Zune… the advantages I thought it has are nothing compared to this crappy customer service and flawful device… What a mistake…

4 Stars Great MP3
I enjoyed this MP3 Player. Easy to drop on Pics, Movies, and Songs after you get use to the program. You have to use WIN Avi to minimize movies to put on this player. A full size movie is the wrong format. The Zune is fast, no hesitations while flipping between songs.

The Zune program for your computer was easier to use than i-Pods program and it accepted two songs on it that my i-Pod did not accept. (don’t know why it wasn’t accepted on the i-Pod, tried many times)

I would HIGHLY recommend this one.

4 Stars Great product but not without flaws
I love my Zune. It’s great. But it’s not without flaws.

(1) The software was not compatible with Vista business. I tried to install and got an error message that installation failed. To get around this, I had to turn off the firewall during installation. Why is Microsoft Zune software not compatible with Microsoft Windows?!

(2) After installation and I connected the Zune, the Zune refused to turn on and begin charging. I had to restart the computer with the Zune still connected for it to begin charging. Works fine now. Just another mystery of Microsoft I guess.

(3) Some videos don’t sync. To get around this problem, I convert all my .wmv files that won’t sync to .mp4. Free converter software is available at [...].

Besides for these annoying hurdles, once up and running, it’s a fantastic gismo. Beautiful to look at. Strongly built. Amazing capacity. Definitely 4 out of 5 stars.

3 Stars I love it, but…
I’ve been using my Nike+ system for 10 months, and wanted to share both the good and the bad:

THE GOOD

1. Nike+ can be calibrated for use with a treadmill. I live in a cold climate and found that entering challenges, etc in the winter was very motivating and helped me keep up with my running at a time when I would normally slack off.

2. The website is great! I love having a mileage/speed log and being able to enter challenges with runners from all over the world.

3. Easy to use. I know there are many reviewers who have experienced trouble with the sensor. I have 760 miles on mine with no issues, and find the system very easy to set up and calibrate for daily use.

4. Inexpensive. A great starting point, especially if you already run in Nike shoes, which I do. The external foot pouch appears to affect the device’s accuracy. It is not as accurate as a GPS watch, but the price point is a lot more manageable.

THE BAD

1. It is not very accurate. I run with a friend who has a Garmin 305, and my Nike+ is almost always off to a certain extent (I do calibrate it regularly).

2. It becomes less accurate over time and distance. For example, it will be spot-on for a three mile run, but for a 10 mile run, its accuracy drifts. Others have mentioned this, and I have found it to be true as well.

Bottom Line: If you want a great motivational tool that will track distance and speed with reasonable accuracy, you’ll love Nike+. If you run indoors some of the time, you’ll love it. If you are training for races and/or are just more concerned with exact time and distance, you will be better served with a GPS watch.

5 Stars Awesome addition to nano for exercise.
Works great, nike web site very cool to track progress or lack of it :). Better then the Wii.

5 Stars iPod Sport kit
I bought the sport kit, bought the shoes, had the iPod. It all works together very seamlessly. Set it up, run, sync your iPod and it loads up all your information, how long in minutes, miles, pace, calories. Very very cool. It was my mother’s day present to myself. Apple comes through again.

4 Stars No problems yet
I got this for my mother, and she uses it for walking in weight watchers. She is not very technical and I just gave it to her and let her set it up by herself. She was able to figure it out on her own, with out my help! So yay apple!

5 Stars works as advertised
bought it over a month ago, and so far I’ve been happy with it. it does exactly what it’s designed for, and works great.
