4 Stars fully functional and not at all authentic
I didn’t start out a tightwad. I already bought a spare cable for $20 at the Apple store. Someone ripped it off from my desk at work. LAME. I am not made of money so I had to find a less expensive replacement. Enter: Amazon!

The quasi Apple-like packaging with a prominent ‘Made in China’ sticker product arrived in the mail a few days ago. Fast shipping? Absolutely. Safe wrapping too: they used bubble wrap and taped it up carefully so no shipping damage.

It works with my iPhone 3G for charging and syncing which is what I care about. If you can overlook the faux packaging you can get yourself a nice cable for a lot less $.

4 Stars Is it the same?
Nope. Everything initially appears to be right from Apple, but after close examination i found that there isn’t as much insulation on these wires as the ones from Apple. Does this matter? Hardly, insulation is put on wires to protect and disperse heat, and these cables may not have as much as the stock ones, but there really isn’t that much different. The only reason why you may consider paying 4 times the price for the cable from Apple is if your using it to charge in your car while using GPS (because gps kills the battery and also takes a lot of power to keep the phone charged). So if you don’t do this every single day, then this is by far a better value. The build quality and pieces appears to be the exact same thing as Apple’s so literally the only difference is a little bit less insulation. Honestly, I would have no problem buying more of these for anything else just because of the price.

this is not a genuine apple product as shown in the picture, it is a knock off with the apple logo. Still works though…

5 Stars Inexpensive, and works
Some reviewers have given low marks saying it is not an Apple product. I don’t know if it is or not, but after buying 4 of these I do know that they work — both for charging and data transfer. And they are cheap.

5 Stars functional
One end of this plugs into my computer. The other end plugs into my iPod nano. Stuff happens. It takes up slightly less space than the one that shipped with my iPod nano, and doesn’t lock in place, but otherwise it performs it’s function perfectly.

the price and shipping was great. I was able with the software from Coby to change my movie and video clips so I now have them on the Coby player. lots of room for pictures also. ofcourse, the music downloads were a snap. earphones were good sounding and controls are easy and well placed. would definitely get another or give as a gift. looking into a Coby tv as am very impressed with their product.

5 Stars Excellent product at low price
I use the device mostly for music/radio and in my opinion the quality of the sound is excellent. Very good product considering the remarkable low price. Color display is clear. Fully compatible with Vista. Software installation and usage is simple. File downloading is a bit slow but not a tragedy! The combination of buttons/menu options is simple once you get accustomed to it as, for some operations you need to go back home and then start making your selection. Initially it may be a bit annoying. Included headphones are not outstanding but acceptable. I hope it lasts!

It is a good product. I wish that it was “audible ready” to play audible audiobooks. Also the “updating library” can be a pain sometimes .

3 Stars Not bad… Esp. for the price.
Let me begin by admitting that I am “downgrading” to a Coby 610 from an ipod Nano which broke (mysteriously) a few months ago. I needed an MP3 player, and I could not afford to invest in a new Nano. The Coby was my compromise: at a fraction of the price and apparently with far greater capabilities, this machine had the contest hands down.

Well, sort of. My principal need was a machine that would play music WELL and hold a lot of it. I got what I paid for: the Coby 610 has copious memory (more than enough for my needs) and seems to be able to play my music just fine. So my complaints here are technically superficial. But I think they are worth considering.

First, if you get a Coby 610, you will be amazed at how light and chintzy the plastic case seems. My Nano had a sturdy, flashy, beautiful metal case– this one FEELS ready to crack in my hands (note: actual cracks have yet to appear). Second, you will notice that the font used on the display screen is a blocky system font– easy enough to read, I guess, but far from sleek or stylish. Next, you will discover that the “fly wheel” on the lower half of the front panel does not “fly” at all: the Nano had a wheel that actually “swirled” allowing me to scroll and navigate through the Nano’s various menus: here, it is just a directional up/ down/ left/ right button placed on a silver wheel.

Okay, more good things: I was blown away by the fact that, for about $30, I could watch a full-length movie on the [tiny] display screen. I mean, it’s really, really small, and the practicality of watching ANY movie on a screen so small must be considered questionable, but there it was, right there: a movie on the LCD display. My Nano could never do that.

Am I happy with my purchase? I guess so. I do not feel like I was ripped off, certainly, nor do I feel like I walked in blind. I guess I was, just, well, disappointed… When I got it out of the box and started working with it I was disappointed. I didn’t feel like I had gotten an amazing new thing for a bargain price. But I am glad I have it. Rihanna just isn’t the same unless you can hear her sing.

The screen is very high quality, colors look vibrant, but unfortunately it’s hard to see in bright sunlight.

There are many options to play your music, for example by Artists, by my top rated,

by Albums.

You can watch a slideshow & play your music at the same time.

There are 3 ways to choose a video: alphabetically, my top rated, video bookmarks.

You can also resume playback on a video.

When you record you have to speak loudly, and press the button about 1 second before you actually start recording.

The battery lasts about 24hours when listening to music, if watching videos or looking at pictures the battery lasts 4-5 hours.

I have the sansa fuze for 7months and I’m happy with a lot of the features, for example the sound is very good, and the sansa fuze is thin and comfortable in my hand. But there is one down side the short battery life while watching videos.

All my friends like it, and one liked it so much that he bought it the next week.

Overall it’s a great gadget and I would highly recommend the sansa Fuze to anyone looking for a low-cost small media device.

4 Stars You cannot go wrong
My experience has been phenomenal. I could not add more or better words than the ones you surely have read in other reviews. It is impossible to make a mistake buying the Sansa Fuze 2GB MP3 & Video player at this price. Specially if you buy with the peace of mind that Amazon.com provides toyour pourchase.

Just for the sake of saying something I did not like at all is the fact that this player is a disposable player. In other words, when the battery dies ~and neither you nor I have a way to know when that death will inevitably happen~ you and I will have to kindly place our player in the trash can and come back to Amazon.com to purchase another one.

That is what I call “How To Trash Money”. I just hate to buy something knowing that in some time I’ll have to inevitably throw it away.

2 Stars Disappointing
I really liked the interface of the Sansa. Unfortunately I was unable to charge the Sansa and play music at the same time. I have an FM Transmitter in the car and it worked great with a Zune and another MP3 player (was able to charge and transmit the music). The Sansa was a different story. After contacting their customer service which was great, they did not have a solution for this glitch, thus the item had to be returned.

This cable happens to be the much older (Read: first) Zune Sync cable, and is you ask me it’s build much tougher than the new ones are now.

Cable works as well as the ones supplied with IPhone and IPods that we own. Always seem to need an extra cable for charging away from the computer and these fit the bill. I see no difference in their performance and those supplied by Apple.

yes the cable works and does’nt seem to be cheaply made like some others have mentioned. if your looking for a device to connect to your mac computer if you did’nt get one or you need to replace your cable for the ipod nano then this for you. i bought this one with a Apple USB Power Adapter for iPod/iPhone because just wanted something to charge my ipod because it kept on running of power and i was’nt near my imac to charge it, so i got this combo and it’s great, because theApple USB Power Adapter for iPod/iPhone plugs into the wall and then uses the cable to plug into ipod. the only thing that is alittle pesty is that the cable once locked into place on you ipod is like pitbull it won’t pull out like a regular one. so you have to push in on the little buttons on the two sides of cable to release the cable from the ipod dock after charging. but other than that it’s wonderful.
