I have used the iPod shuffle before and I wanted to purchase one. I am happy with the product. It was easy to use thanks to the manual that came with the iPod.

I just love it! it is cute, has a compact size, very portable, works perfectly and the sound is very clear. I had no interest in pictures or videos, so is just perfect. Besides, is very easy to download music and has a long battery life.

The best part about the shuffle is that it’s so small and easy to just clip to your shirt. You won’t even notice that it’s there. Compared to using a 1st generation shuffle, the on/off and shuffle/cycle switches on are a bit harder to use (since they’re on the bottom of the device and challenging to get at if you have large fingers). Also, obviously the device does not have a display, so you have to just scroll along to get to the song you want if you have alot of songs stored in there. If you’re ok with these 2 minor things, this a great little device.

5 Stars Very happy
This is my third MP3 player overall and I couldn’t be happier. I first had a Creative Nomad and them a Creative Zen Vision: M and while I was generally happy with them I wasn’t totally satisfied. Well, this ipod has fully delivered. I always had stability problems with my Creative products but I rarely have any issues with this ipod, and most importantly the sync in iTunes actually works! I had nothing but trouble with my Creative syncing process. With my nomad I actually used a third-party solution.

There have been no major issues at all. I absolutely love having a working MP3 player, and best of all for me is that it auto-syncs with Last.FM. This was a big factor in my purchase and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m so glad that the ipod keeps accurate listening info. Great purchase, and I am foreseeing another Apple purchase when this one dies.

5 Stars IPod 120 Gig Classic
I love it! This is my first IPod; I bought it to use through my motorcycle’s sound system and it works great. However, it was weeks before I could use it due to the convoluted way Apple provides software to sync music from a PC into the IPod. The Apple website provides free software for PC users, but it is 75+ megs. If you don’t have a high speed modem setup, it literally takes over 10 hours to complete the download. The chances of completing that successfully are slim and none. I tried it twice and both times it ran for many hours and failed. It’s probably a phone company problem, but it leaves the user stranded for options. The IPod lay around for two weeks until a friend casually suggested I bring my computer to his house and use his high speed hookup. I disconnected everything on my computer, loaded it into my car, and drove to his house over an hour away. After setting everything up in his living room, he connected his high speed modem to the Apple site and the down load was completed in less than five minutes. The software had to be installed while still on line and that took quite a while (probably about fifteen minutes). Then I disconnected my computer, reloaded everything into my car, drove home, and reconnected everything again. The IPod works fine now and I recommend it. BUT, if you don’t have a high speed modem, you’re out of luck. I would gladly have paid five dollars or so for a CD or DVD with the software, but that’s not an option. I wonder how many people returned their IPod to the store because they couldn’t get it to work?

Wake up, Apple! You’re missing a chance to provide customers with better service.

3 Stars I Hope this was just a fluke problem!
I purchased an Apple iPod classic 120GB Silver (6th generation) {My first ever iPod} and had it for a couple of weeks and then, in a middle of a song, the whole thing froze up! I couldn’t even turn it off or reset it! I have read other reviews and don’t see similar problems so I’m hoping it was a fluke defect in this one iPod! I’m exchanging it for another Apple classic 120Gb and hope it doesn’t have the same problem! Other people have tons of songs stored on theirs and don’t seem to have this problem. I’ll keep my fingers crossed and hope I’m not disappointed. If anyone else had this problem please report it. In the meantime, I’ll hold off on my opinion. It worked great for a few weeks. If we can make that a few years I’ll be happy!

Ok, my opinion might be skewed as this is my first major ipod, but I love it! Getting the free podcasts alone makes it well worth the purchase! I catch up on shows/news while I work out now!
