3 Stars Not quite CD quality sound…
Easy instructions and pretty much plug and play. Not quite CD quality sound but it was better than paying thousands of dollars to install a mp3 attachment on my Porsche Cayenne from the dealer. all and all, not a great product but a good one.

3 Stars eh…
This is an okay product. I had been using a tape converter but something’s wrong with my tape deck so I decided to try an fm converter. It’s a little touchy getting used to. You have to find an fm station that’s really fuzzy and not picking up things from other stations for it to work the best. My stereo doesn’t allow me to go up one number at a time, it searches for the stronger signals in between, which means I can’t really find the stations that would work the best. I have found some that work pretty well, but you can still hear a little static, especially between songs. I’ve seen a bunch of complaints that this product sucks for big cities. I noticed the same thing but figured out that if you put your antenna all the way down, this product works a lot better. It seems to have more issues on cloudy days, so if you live in a place that’s cloudy a lot of the time, you may not be too happy with this device.

4 Stars Monster Radio Play
I rated this product with four stars because once I leave an area that doesn’t carry 107.9 channel it does become very static but overall I am happy with my purchase.

5 Stars Great Product…
The Monster RadioPlay 300 works great. It over powers weak fm stations for clear sound. I bought the Monster for my LG Dare phone and works great. I also use it with my IPod. I saw many negative reviews, but do not understand why. I recently went on two trips to Jacksonville, FL and Atlanta, GA. The RadioPlay worked great. I only had to change the channel one time in Atlanta, to get a station with no static, so I could hear the music clear and never I had a problem in Jacksonville. This is saying a lot if you have ever listened to the radio in these two cities with all of the radio stations they have.

I returned two different types of Belkin FM transmitters because I could not find a clear station. The Belkin FM transmitters did not even compare to the Monster Radio Play. It may cost a little more but it is definately worth it!

5 Stars Almost Perfect
I use this with a Sansa Fuze.

Turns out that the normal channel I set this to is a radio station somewhere South. When plugged in, the RadioPlay over powers the distant station. This thing works and works well. Since it overpowers the station, I leave it where it works and don’t worry about it. I did have to change it that time we drove to Chicago though.

Three buttons to assign a station to and any channel. No restrictions on what channel you choose to set the transmitter to.

The only thing I can pick about is that the other buttons on the transmitter get pushed when I set something on the control or the wife sits on it.

3 Stars 4th Generation Nano Use
Sounds clear when I can find a compatible station. The only drawback is that it will not charge a 4th generation IPOD Nano.

5 Stars Works Wonderful
This product works wonderfully. I have had it for more than two months and it has not messed up yet. A previous one I had bought had a constant ringing noise in the background. This one does NOT have that ringing noise. Thank you!!!

1 Star Terrible if you are near any city
Extremely poor audio quality…mostly due to a weak transmitter. Does not charge any late generation ipods.

If you are anywhere near an urban area, their is so much interference from adjacent stations (no matter where you program the unit) and the weak transmitter just can’t overcome it. If you can actually find an area in the US that does not have many transmitters you might actually hear something though there will be a lot of static. The only time it has worked for me when I am deep underground in a parking garage. Useless.

5 Stars Best fm transmitter for iPod
Great inexpensive product that really does transmit iPod music through the car stereo with very little interference.

4 Stars Better than commercial radio
Generally works pretty well. There is some inevitable static but with the ability to change stations this can be minimized. Plays well enough in general but for the price paid it plays really well. Happy with purchase.
