This is a portable whose attachable battery pack is actually an asset even when you're running the player indoors off AC power: the battery pack serves as a viewing stand, offering adjustable height and viewing angles. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery runs for about 2.5 hours between charges. The player offers compatibility with DVD-Video (both NTSC- and PAL-formatted region-1 and all-region discs), audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3-encoded music discs, and even recordable CDs brimming with your JPEG digital photos. An onscreen display simplifies setup and operation; you can view setup options and commands in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese.
